Why Choose Natural?

Skin is the largest organ of the body and although it is waterproof, what we apply to our skin is absorbed into our blood stream, if this was not the case then pain relieving and nicotine patches would not work.

What we apply to our lips is also ingested.

When we understand this, we realise that it is far healthier to use products on our skin that are safer to ingest and absorb into our bodies.

And it makes sense that a product which contains high doses of carefully blended oils, extracts and vitamins which actually have skin care benefits, has got to be money better spent than on chemical ingredients which are nicely packaged and have little or no skin care benefits.

High end skin care companies have the advantage of making a lot of profit which is spent on advertising and the abilitity to make products that contain something worth about 10 pence look great, when these products do not work they bring out the next 'amazing product containing some ingredient which they make sound fantastic.

Whereas people like myself want to create a fantastic product that you want to buy again because it feels, smells and does what it says it should, ie heal and soothe or feed your skin with vitamins and thus improving your skins appearance when applied daily. Otherwise it would be pointless going to all the time, expense and trouble designing a product as I rely on your repeat business, referals, and testimonials.
Last year after having trouble getting packaging that represented the quality of my products (unless I wanted to buy 5000 bottles) I decided that I might be best buying in a nicely packaged natural product and I bought in an Organic Range of products, of which contained 100% natural serum.
This serum has won awards and is described as a luxury facial oil and had a retail price of £20.

I was absolutely disgusted to find that all it contained was Sweet Almond oil and Patchouli and Geranium.  It just goes to show how much we can be conned with the awards that products win, the packaging and the labels which describe what is them.

I can honestly say that the ingredients in the serums I make must cost at least
20 to 40 times more for me to buy and are 100% more effective than this product that claimed to be a 'luxury serum'.  I do not have enough space on my labels or time  to fully explain the full benefits of each oil, extract, vitamin and active ingredients contained in each of my products.

My facial customers all told me that my range was better and this spurred me to carry on, especially when the same week I received excellent feedback from the excema cream users that I had recently upgraded and was advised to market it.
Then a new company offered a nice range of bottles that I could buy in small enough quantities - and I decided to continue with my own skin care range.

It was in the national newspapers a while ago that Boots had brought out a 'Specially Formulated Spray which hydrated your skin' gram by gram it cost more than an expensive malt whiskey, it was later discovered that this Specially Formulated product was 100% water.

These are the reasons I decided to learn how to formulate and create my own range of products. I have been lucky enough to not have any major skin problems myself but was appauled by the used of steroid creams that weaken the skin and though afford some protection do nothing to heal. Acne products that strip the skin of oil making the skin clear quickly only for the body to rebalance itselft producing more oil and in turn leading to a viscious circle.

The same can be said for lip balms, you see people with dry lips continuallly reapplying them for the soft feel they give.  It is actually a result of the paraffin sitting on the lips surface and although this does protect as it says on the packaging, it often does nothing to heal the lips long term and reduces the skins ability to breath.  Not to mention this parrafin, petroleum, fragrance etc is all being consumed.

It took me many years to afford to take the courses in Advanced Spa Products, Rejuvenation and Acne Skin Care, and I have now spent 10 years creating, redesigning and uprgrading my products as new, ethically sourced and naturally powerful ingredients are made affordable and available to use, due to demand.

Especially For You
 (Do not contain the following)

Mineral Oils (Liquidum Paraffinium) Vasaline, Paraffin.

Mineral oils may appear to moisturise the skin but in fact they create a film on the surface of the skin and with long term use suppress its normal healthy functioning. It does not contain any vitamins or fatty acids and can even prevent the skin from being able to absorb fat soluble vitamins.

The skin becomes dependent on more applications and this can result in a detioration of the skin and its healthy functioning.  This is often seen in people who need to constantly use lip balms.

Baby Oil is often made of 100% mineral oil.

Mineral oil is very cheap and has a long shelf life.

Fragrance (Parfum)

Fragrances are used in nearly all skin care products even in 'natural' products to make the product more appealing and to conceal the orginal fragrance of the products. Although the product smells good these synthetic fragrances not only do not have any benefit to the skin, but also can cause skin problems.

Collagen

Often derived from animal products (calf foetuses), I once read a shocking artical explaining how in China the skin from dead prisoners was being used for collagen and sold to the skin care industry. Digusting but sadly true !!

Active Ingredients
Even if a product does contain active ingredients, often it is tiny quantities and mixed with harmful chemical ingredients.

Sodium Lauryl Sulphate
Found in products that foam and is a harsh chemical degreasing agent. It was orginally designed to degrease car engines.
