I have found there are two types of massage therapists. There are the ones that have done a course, stuck a certificate on their wall and therefore feel entitled to charge you for a gentle rub that serves no purpose other than to waste your time and lighten your wallet. Then there are those therapists who have a real talent. These are the people that can seek out the aches and pains and ease them away. They don't need bits of paper stuck to their wall - because no course can teach what they do. They are a rare and special breed. Debbie is the latter. She is very well qualified, but I have little interest in bits of paper. What I do know is that an hour spent with her does me as much good as a weekend away. I am currently pregnant and I have many bits that ache in ways they never have done before. Debbie is not frightened to be firm with my over-taxed muscles - which means I get a real benefit from the massage. Equally Debbie is gentle and tender around my belly and although it may be psychosomatic, I am sure I can feel my baby relaxing inside of me! One thing that is not in the mind is the relief from leg cramps. Before I met Debbie I would wake up screaming with cramps down both calf muscles. Since I have been seeing Debbie regularly I have not had a single leg cramp - that in itself has made it worthwhile! I have no hesitation in recommending Debbie as one of the best massage therapists I have had the pleasure to meet.

I first started seeing Debbie in January 2008. At that time I was very depressed and suffering from stress and low self esteem which manifested itself as severe neck, back and shoulder tension.
I began having massages to ease the physical stress and Debbie introduced me to Reiki which helped relax me on a much deeper level.
Throughout the year my depression lifted considerably aided not only by the therapies, but by Debbie's skill as a sympathetic counsellor. Earlier this year I started on the Stress Manangement course with Debbie and this has helped me immeasurably.

Dear Debbie, I have to say a huge thank you for releasing me from those awful steroid creams for my excema. In recent years I have been forced to use very strong antibiotic/steroid creams on one hand which has been in a continual cycle of itching, bleeding and scabbing. I have found creams that worked as emollients but none that caused no irritation. Since using your calendula cream my hand has actually HEALED and is now looking relatively normal for the first time in years. THANK YOU!
