I am asked frequently 'What is Holistic Therapy'
The word Holistic means 'whole' and is a term used to describe treating individuals by taking into account peoples physical, emotional, mental and spritual well being.
Reflexology - £30
A reflexology treatment lasts for aproxiamately one hour. You are invited to lie on a couch, your feet are cleansed and then gentle, while firm techniques are adapted to suit your individual needs.

A Reiki Treatment
Receiving a Reiki treatment is a very simple process. The recipient simply lies on a couch and relaxes. If you are unable to lie down the treatment can be given in a sitting position, the main thing is for you to be as comfortable as possible. There is no need to remove any clothing as Reiki can be received whilst fully dressed. I gently place my hands non-intrusively in positions which cover the whole body. The whole person is treated rather than specific symptoms. A full treatment usually takes 1 hour with each position held for several minutes.
Which conditions can Reiki help?
Reiki works on physical, mental, emotional or spiritual levels. Acute injuries can be helped to heal very quickly but more chronic illness takes longer. In some cases such as terminal illness, there is not enough time for the progress of the disease to be reversed. However, in such cases there is usually great benefit and enhancement of the quality of life giving a sense of peace and acceptance during the time remaining.
Reiki flows to the areas of need, soothing pain and supporting the body's natural ability to heal itself. Reiki restores balance in one's life.
Reiki is suitable for all from babies to the elderly. I have found it to be a great treatment in times of severe stress, during pregnancy and is a great follow on treatment after a back, neck and shoulder massage.

Aromatherapy aims to treat the whole person by helping to restore and balance us physically, emotionally and spiritual. Aromatherapy is most effective in therapeutic massage, though as a compliment to treatments or on their own, essential oils can be used in the bath, in oil burners or diffusers or can be added to personal care products to add to their therapeutic effect. (Please ask a quailified practioner for advice about using essential oils)
Each essential oil has unique therapeutic properties and after a detailed consultation the correct essential oils are chosen and blended to address your particular problems.
I use only the highest qualitity essential oils and vegetable oils.
Essential oils are absorbed by your skin and can have a physical effect on your body's systems, they also have a psychological effect when you inhale them as our sense of smell is directly linked to the brain. Essential oils have relaxing and uplifiting properties and this is also taken into account when choosing the right oils for you.
